For a sponsoring institution, some of the hardest hours to account for are the ones that happen somewhere else. When residents rotate through host and affiliate sites, “how many hours did they actually work here, and how does that line up with what was scheduled?” is a question usually answered by hand — pulling schedules, cross-referencing logs, and hoping the two roughly agree.
The new WorkZone™ Daily Detail report is built to make that comparison visible.
What it shows
WorkZone™ Daily Detail breaks recorded hours down to the day, by WorkZone™ — every clinical site, Sponsor and Host alike. Because those hours are recorded automatically as residents move through each WorkZone™, the report reflects where trainees actually were, day by day, rather than a recollection assembled at the end of a rotation.
New in this release: you can now manually compare hours worked against hours scheduled, for both Sponsors and Hosts. Compare the recorded total next to the scheduled total and the gaps surface immediately — the days that ran long, the coverage that didn’t happen, the site where the two don’t line up.
Why it matters for Sponsors and Hosts
- Sponsors get a contemporaneous, site-by-site record of resident presence across every host and affiliate — supporting documentation when reconciling affiliate arrangements or preparing for a review.
- Hosts get the same clarity for their own site: what was scheduled, what was recorded, and exactly where to look when the two differ.
It’s the difference between assembling the picture from multiple spreadsheets and reading it from one report.
A note on framing: this is corroborating evidence and exception-flagging — a way to see where worked and scheduled diverge — not a payroll-grade source of truth.
