ResQ Release Notes
What’s New in ResQ
Every production release of the ResQ Medical app and the WorkTime™ web portal, newest first. One entry per release: what’s new, what improved, and what we fixed.
No releases match that filter.
WorkTime™ web portal 1.135
New
- Attestation: programs can now ask residents to attest their duty hours. Program administrators enable it per program, set a start date and reminder cadence, and attested shifts are locked against further edits. Residents receive reminders in the app.
- Meeting check-in support in the portal for programs that record meeting attendance, with a meeting attendance report and roster export.
Improved
- Shifts added by hand in the portal now sync to MedHub like recorded shifts.
- Program administrators see a clear trace when a shift was closed automatically rather than by a WorkZone™ exit.
Fixed
- Short shifts recorded shortly after an entry no longer overwrite the matching MedHub record.
ResQ Medical app 2.11
New
Check in to a meeting in seconds. If your program uses ResQ for meeting attendance, the dashboard now shows a Meetings card. Tap it, type the 4-digit code shown in the room, and check in. You get a confirmation with the meeting name, where it is being held and the time you checked in. When a meeting you can join starts, ResQ sends a notification; tapping it opens the check-in screen. If your program does not use meeting check-in, nothing changes.
WorkTime™ web portal 1.134.1 (hotfix)
Fixed
- New administrators invited by email are no longer asked to change a password they never had.
WorkTime™ web portal 1.134
New
- Edited Logs Report: every manual change to a duty-hour record, with who made it and why.
- A reason is now required for every manual hours edit, chosen from a fixed list.
- The shift-merge gap (how long a step-out can be before a shift is split) is now an institution setting, between 30 minutes and 3 hours.
- Broadcast: programs can save and reuse announcement templates.
- An Updates tab on the institution dashboard shows ResQ news inside the portal.
Improved
- The WorkZone™ list warns administrators when a geofence is too small for phones to detect reliably.
- Email images are now served from ResQ’s own host.
Fixed
- Broadcast push delivery failures on a small number of institutions.
Security
- Credentials moved out of the application package into protected configuration; a JSON library upgraded for a published advisory; the help form no longer includes device push tokens.
WorkTime™ web portal 1.131
Improved
- Entry-side dwell: a WorkZone™ entry is confirmed only after a short dwell, which reduces drive-through shifts near small geofences.
Fixed
- Follow-ups from the August duty-hour recording incident, including the alerting that would have caught it sooner.
WorkTime™ web portal 1.130
New
- MedHub Sync 2.0: a user-keyed sync queue with a weekly reconciliation of MedHub against ResQ.
- Program-administrator sync from MedHub for institutions that enable it.
Improved
- The nightly cycle no longer re-runs on application restarts.
ResQ Medical app 2.10
Fixed
Location reliability: fixes for phones that stopped recording after an operating-system update, and clearer in-app guidance when Precise Location or battery settings prevent recording.
ResQ Medical app 2.9
Improved
Stability and sign-in improvements following the move to one-time email codes.
ResQ Medical app 2.8
New
Announcements: messages from your program appear in the app, with read receipts for your coordinator.
