Residents receive a summary of their weekly hours, and their average weekly hours. The average weekly hours are calculated over the prior four weeks, which the ACGME uses to determine 80-hour work week violations.
Real-Time Compliance Checklist
Program administrators receive a similar a weekly report that displays the average weekly hours per resident as well as any 24 or 80-hour violations that occur. Should a violation occur, administrators can download the work hour logs and immediately delve in for more detail.
