After several months of pilot testing the ResQ app throughout the country, ResQ officially launched the commercialization of its flagship product last week at the ACGME Annual Education Conference. Trainees from residency programs and teaching hospitals in the U.S. are using the app to record their work hours automatically.
ResQ’s flagship product addresses three major problems among teaching hospitals:
1. Records and documents work hours automatically.
2. Streamlines communication among physicians and staff through Qtext, a secure messaging platform integrated into the app.
3. Satisfies disaster preparedness requirements by using its location algorithm to provide a real-time directory of hospital staff members who are physically on-site at any location.
Through the use of its proprietary location algorithm, ResQ provides a solution that allows its customers to create virtual boundaries around any structure, in any dimension, that trigger events automatically once users cross the threshold of the boundaries. ResQ is defining a place in this new segment of the market which is best described as Location Context Automation (LCA).
