AwayMode™ Gives Residents Control

Protecting resident privacy, while using the ResQ app, is our priority and non-negotiable. ResQ is  aware that when location data is used properly, it adds incredible value to a resident’s experience, but we also believe all residents should have control of their location based experience. That is why we created AwayMode™.

AwayMode™ allows residents to temporarily disable the functionality that automatically records their work hours. Entering a WorkZone™ on personal time? Studying on campus during a day off? Having lunch or dinner on campus with your spouse or significant other? Whatever the reason, when entering a WorkZone™ for non-work related reasons, the resident has control of the automatic recording of work hours by simply enabling the AwayMode™ feature. 

Here’s How It Works

When AwayMode™ is enabled, the app temporarily stops recording hours on the device and the Dashboard screen indicates when AwayMode™ is active. The device also prompts the resident to set a notification reminder when they are ready to resume recording work hours again.  Once the reminder occurs, simply click “Resume Work” and work hours begin recording.

If  a resident decides to resume recording work hours prior to the AwayMode™ reminder, the AwayMode can be manually disabled just by the resident clicking the location icon on the dashboard screen. Work hours begin recording. It’s that easy!
